His work has been showcased and earned recognitions in several festivals such as: Special Jury Mention at Clermont-Ferrand Court Métrage IFF, Best Latin American Short at the 40th Mar del Plata IFF, Best International Short at Cine Lebu IFF, Grand Prix Golden Dinosaur at IFF Etiuda&Anima, Best Fiction Short at the New Talents Competition in PÖFF Shorts Tallin Black Nights Festival.
Is a Fulbright-García Robles scholar with a B.A. in Cinematography from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, and a BA in Theatre and Acting from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Professor of Theatre Arts for seniors and in Acting and Cinema workshops at small community schools. Is currently pursuing an MFA in Film from Emerson College.
