



ALICJA WITKOWSKA

Graduate of the Film School in Łódź. Director of animated films, scriptwriter, graphic designer, illustrator. Lecturer at Warsaw School of Advertising. Threetime winner of the Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Chair of the Animated Film Section of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
EWA SOBOLEWSKA

She holds diplomas in Polish philology and theatre studies. A producer, executive producer, editor of animated films. A graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (1977). Between 1980 and 2001, professionally associated with the Television Studio of Animated Films – Polish Television in Poznań (editor, director, promotion specialist, production manager). After the transformation of the Studio into an employee-owned company, she became the President of TV Studio of Animated Films Sp. z o.o. (since 2001) and President of the AnimaFilm Foundation (since 2006). Between 1980 and 2025, she collaborated on the production of over 350 short and medium-length animated films. The Poznań Studio has received 251 awards and distinctions at domestic and international festivals.
Expert of the Polish Film Institute and Regional Film Funds. Member of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
DARIA KOPIEC

Film and theatre director. A graduate of the Cinematography Department of the Łódź Film School, specializing in Animation and Special Effects, and the Directing Department of the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. She interned at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels – La Cambre in Brussels, in the Animated Film Department. She is the author of films such as: My Own Garbage (2020), Rivers (2014), Space (2016), and the Television Theatre production of The Case of Rita G. (2017). She is an independent artist, collaborating with various cultural institutions. In her professional work, she combines her passion for film and theatre. She directs on stages throughout Poland. In 2020, she won the Silver Hobby-Horse for best Polish animated film at the 60th Krakow Film Festival, and in 2021, her film My Own Garbage received the Special Jury Prize at the SXSW Film Festival in the US. Currently, her latest film, Swimming Pool or Death of a Goldfish, is enjoying success at festivals.
ZBIGNIEW CZAPLA

Painter, graphic designer, screenwriter, and animation director. Studied at the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Author of experimental animated films presented at festivals around the world. Winner of festivals such as ANIMATOR, MESSAGE TO MAN, ANN ARBOR Film Festival, KRAKOW FILM FESTIVAL and many others. Member of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
PIOTR MATYSIAK

In 2014, he completed his cinematography studies at the National Film School in Łódź and completed his doctoral studies at the same university. He currently lectures there. He is a director and cinematographer of documentaries and animations, and has produced dozens of commercials and television programs. He is a licensed scuba diver and underwater cinematographer. His passion is spatial stop-motion animation. In addition to his commercial activities, he is also present in the world of science. He is a co-founder of the Visual Narrative Laboratory at the National Film School in Łódź, where he served as the head of the "S3D Workshop" research project.
