Target group: The workshop is aimed at beginner and intermediate animated filmmakers, animation students and people who would like to develop their screenwriting skills in the context of animation.

The workshop aims to introduce participants to the basics of screenwriting, develop creative and informed writing skills, and learn practical techniques for creating a story based on a basic script structure and well-built characters. Participants will gain the tools necessary to make a short script for an animated film.
The workshop aims not only to develop screenwriting skills, but also to understand how to fully utilise the narrative potential of animation, where image, movement, and sound play a key role in telling a story. Participants will learn about the unique challenges and opportunities of screenwriting in animation, how to create interesting stories, develop unusual and believable characters, and build fantastic worlds that take advantage of the specifics of animation.
Magdalena Wleklik
Experienced author of film, television and audio scripts. She made her debut in 2002 in the Television Theatre with the drama Żółtodzioby (TVP 2). Her films have been shown at festivals in Poland and abroad. Long-time author of the Polish Radio Theatre and Radio Szczecin. Winner of script competitions, including the Main Prize of Script Wars, the Main Prize of Audioteka, and the 3rd prize in the Obraz Sobie competition. A resident of the Forum for Dialogue of Cultures at Villa Decius as part of the Polish-German scholarship program. Graduate of Screenwriting and Television Production at the Film School in Łódź, currently a PhD student. Co-creator and editor of the Film Script Library. Member of the Board of the Screenwriters' Circle of the Polish Filmmakers Association.

Alicja Witkowska
A graduate of the L. Schiller National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź, Department of Cinematography and Television Production, specializing in animated film and special effects. Animated film director, screenwriter, graphic designer, and illustrator. She is connected with the Warsaw School of Advertising, where she is the supervisor of the animation specialization and lecturer in screenwriting and storytelling. Author of scripts for short films, and children's programs on TVP, three-time scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the category of script development.
Author and implementer of the Klatka po Klatka project - workshops on creating animated films for children, youth and families.
Her films: Elation (1998), I Am a Little Boy (2002), and Wake Up (2008), were presented and awarded at many festivals in Poland and abroad. She is a chairwoman of the Animated Film Section of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
