An animated tale about a journey of animals which are sheltering themselves from a mysterious flood in a drifting boat. After its world premiere at the International Film Festival in Cannes and winning an Oscar and four awards at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, will now be screened in competition.

The second feature by a Latvian director Gints Zilbalodis (Away, 2019) is a compelling and moving story about an adventure full of dangers. The animal protagonists are saving themselves from a mysterious high tide by finding a shared asylum in an old boat. Rising and falling waves carry the cat, dog, lemur, capybara and secretary bird through picturesque and oneiric landscapes. Flooded towns and forests become a poetic scenery of this peculiar water odyssey and symbolic journey into oneself. It is a warm and moving story both for older and younger audience.
