We cordially invite you to the Animation Pitching Workshop: Present Your Project, during the 33rd edition of the Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival. The workshops will last a total of 4 hours and span two days (2 hours each).
In this four hour workshop pitching coach Nancy Denney-Phelps will teach you how to successfully pitch your project whether it is a short animated film, a feature or a television series. The workshop is open to people with animated projects in any style and stage of progress from early script development to completed films looking for a distributor.
On day one be prepared to pitch your project. Nancy will give her rules for a successful pitch.
Day two you will give your pitching again following the rules that you learned the previous day.

She is a journalist writing about European animation and festivals as well as a producer of music for animation. Along with her composer/musician husband Nik Phelps, she co-founded the Sprocket Ensemble, dedicated to presenting live performances of original music with screenings of contemporary animation from around the world. Nancy’s writings have appeared in such publications as CARTOON and ANIMATOON as well as on her regular blog for AWN (Animation World Network). She is also a regular correspondent for ASIFA/San Francisco and a member of the ASIFA International Board of Directors as well as an Ambassador At Large for the Emile Awards.
For 15 years, she has been a pitching coach, training young people at numerous events, including Animarkt in Łódź, the Cinanima festival, Animasyros, and many others. Her strong interest in the history of animation has led her to present programs on the history of animation traced through music at many anima tion festivals and conferences worldwide. She also works as advisor to several animation festivals and in 2019 was the recipient of a Life time Achievement Award from the Animakom, Animation Festival in Bilbao, Spain. In 2022 Nancy received the Giannalberto Bendazzi Award from the Paris International Animation Film Festival.
