



We invite you to the Animation Workshops for children aged 9-13: "Good Letters" during the 32nd edition of the Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival. The workshops are two days long and space is limited, so hurry up and register your child.
Two-day workshops (Saturday – Sunday) will allow young artists to create short animations.
Animation with letters, words and poetry. Animation workshop using letters, words and original, old handwriting sent letters. An Animation Workshop will introduce kids the power and magic of animated visualization of simple personal letters, whole words, parts and excerpts from letters.
The workshop will encourage the participants to think figuratively, try to move individual letters, words and build a poetic movement of shapes construct from the individual letters. For the creation of the image the participants will use the original old letters, written by hand. Workshop participants will be able to create typefaces and tell stories by using the vision of real letters.
Artistic target is to discover poetry in both words and animated movement. During the work, the participants will make up stories about the simple letters and words, that they use them every day, and the all visual part of the real letters, sent years ago. And to find the poetry, the music, the rhythm of all that elements

Professor, Program Director of the Animation department, and Chair of the Faculty “Production and post-production” in the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) “Krastyo Sarafov”. She is a Bulgarian director, animator, children’s book illustrator and academic.

Radostina uses non-traditional, handmade embroidery and textile cut-out animation techniques in her films, and she directed the award-winning animated shorts The Boy who erased kisses (2025), Marmalade (2020), Ugly Fairy Tale (2018), Grumpy Does Repairs (2015), Trip (2011) and others. She has held solo exhibitions on her embroidery and illustration techniques in various locations in Europe, America and Africa and delivers animation workshops across Europe. She makes Animation workshops and Master class in France, Cuba, Turkey, Serbia, Poland, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Russia, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Germany.
She is a member of many prestigious Bulgarian film and animation organizations, and the author of several academic books, including Aesthetics, technology and communication in cinema for adolescent audiences (2022), Contemporary Cinema for Children (2016), and Comic Books on the Contemporary Screen (2009).
