The Jury of the 26thInternational Film Festival Etiuda&Anima consisting of: Janusz Zaorski (President), Zoel Aeschbacher, Eugenio Attanasio, Chris Hunt, Andrzej Pągowski after watching 29 competition films decided to award the following prizes:

- To Vedrana Božinovič for her wonderful role in the film Ostrom / Oblężenie /A Siege, dir. István Kovács,Hungary 2018, University of Theatre and Film Arts of Budapest, where she played a woman who, like a caryatid, bears on her shoulders the burden of war
- To Andrzej Waldenfor his role in the film Krzyżówka/ The Crossword, dir. Jan Bujnowski, Poland 2019, Polish National Film School in Lodz, where he combined his acting skills with the wisdom of the portrayed character
- To Weng Zhongwei for the script of Blowing in the Wind /Papierowy samolot, dir. Saito Chong, Taiwan 2019, NTUA Department of Motion Picture – for the sensitivity in depicting adolescence and becoming an adult
- To Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz for the music in Ukąszenie/ Bitten, dir. Helena Oborska, Poland 2019, Polish National Film School in Lodz– for building the climate and atmosphere that further emphasize the subject of the film
- To Marzena Wojciechowska for the exceptionally unique costumes in Fascinatrix, dir. Justyna Mytnik Poland 2018, Polish National Film School in Lodz, which transport us into the narrated story

Special mention
- Tot het einde van de wereld /Do końca świata/Till the End of the World, the Netherlands 2018, Nederlandse Filmacademie, dir. Florence Bouvy – from a child's point of view the film offers a deeply moving portrait of a fragile and troublesome relationship between father and daughter.
Award in the form of a contribution-in-kind worth 5,000 PLN for the author of the best cinematography in a Polish student short film, funded bythe Heliograf company

Justification: For the precise dramatic narration, in which the author talks about the essentials using economical, but not trivial, cinematic techniques. What deserves the highest praise is the author’s humanism, so important these days, which manifests itself in the ability to acknowledge intimate human dramas in a world of inhumane treatment, and in the artistic ethics that brings back honour to all victimsof military activity in Sarajevo.
