Oscar-nominated film director, PhD university professor, founder of the KEDD Animation Studio, member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. His artworks „Matches” (2019), „Mama” (2009), „Ergo” (2008), „Maestro” (2005) successfully participated more than 250 film festivals worldwide and were awarded with more than 120 prizes (including, among others, the Interantional Film Festival ”Etiuda&Anima”). His animation film, MAESTRO was nominated to the Academy Awards in 2007 in the Best Animated Short Film category.

In years 2014-2019 he was the Rector of the Hungarian University of Theatre, Film and Television, Budapest.
