She has directed and produced numerous animated and hybrid film projects that have been presented and awarded at international festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kandelaki is the founder of several key animation initiatives in the Black Sea region, including the Animation Project Development Workshop together with Annecy festival, the <strong>Georgian Animators Association SAQANIMA<\/strong>, and the<strong> ANIMA Tbilisi International Animation Conference<\/strong>, contributing significantly to the development of the regional animation industry and international co-production networks. She is also the organizer of the <strong>Nikozi International Animation Film Festiva<\/strong>l.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has served as a jury member at numerous international animation festivals, including the <strong>Annecy International Animation Film Festival<\/strong>, <strong>Animafest Zagreb<\/strong>, <strong>Paris International Animation Film Festival (PIAFF)<\/strong>, <strong>Animest International Animation Film Festival<\/strong>, <strong>Ottawa International Animation Festival, Linoleum<\/strong> <strong>Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival<\/strong>, <strong>Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival<\/strong>, and <strong>Anifilm International Festival of Animated Films<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mariam Kandelaki is a board member of <strong>CEE Animation<\/strong> and the <strong>EMILE European Animation Awards<\/strong>, and a member of the <strong>European Film Academy<\/strong>. Her produced animated shorts, including <strong><em>The Pocket Man<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Abandoned Village<\/em><\/strong>, have received numerous international awards.
