Raised in Belgium from the age of eight, she draws much of her inspiration from her childhood in the Podlasie region in Poland. She has directed, among others, <em><strong>Slug &amp; the snails<\/strong><\/em>, <em><strong>The Strawberry soup<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>The Teeny-weeny fox<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her latest film, <em><strong>Autokar<\/strong><\/em>, has received numerous awards at international festivals \u2014 including the <strong>Golden Jabberwocky Grand Prix <\/strong>at the <strong>32<sup>nd<\/sup> Etiuda&amp;Anima International Film Festival<\/strong> \u2014 and was shortlisted for the 2026 <strong>Oscar <\/strong>for <strong>Best Animated Short Film<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is currently working on a feature-length adaptation of the graphic novel <strong><em>Siberian haiku<\/em><\/strong> by Jurga Vil\u0117.
