She studied screenwriting and documentary filmmaking at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and Prague. Besides making her own films, she also collaborates on other independent film projects as script editor and editor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her recent films <strong><em>Frem<\/em> <\/strong>(2019), <em><strong>White on White<\/strong><\/em> (<em>B\u00edl\u00e1 na b\u00edl\u00e9<\/em>, 2020) and <em><strong>Notes from the Eremocene<\/strong><\/em> (2023) have been presented at numerous international film festivals and won several awards. <strong><em>Frem<\/em> <\/strong>and <em><strong>Notes from Eremocene<\/strong><\/em> had their international premiere at Berlinale in the Forum section. In 2014, she made the film <em><strong>Gottland<\/strong><\/em>, an adaptation of the best-selling collection of reportages by Mariusz Szczygie\u0142.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>She was born in 1980 in Bratislava.
