The fourth day of the Etiuda&Anima International Festival begins today.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communing with short films will start at 11 am in the small screening room of the Ma\u0142opolska Garden of Arts which will be accompanied by the promotion of the book written by Micha\u0142 Bobrowski and Rados\u0142aw Bomba<\/strong> entitled Beyond cinema screen. Post-media contexts of animation. Another publication will be promoted at 12 am, in the same place; its author, Olga Bobrowska<\/strong>, will present her book Chinese animated film and ideology, 1940s-1970s - fighting puppets<\/strong>, introducing  some reflections on Chinese animated propaganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight films will be screened as part of an interesting segment titled \"Nature-human-culture\"<\/strong> which will begin at 1 pm, in the small screening room. The movies will concern, as the title of the segment indicates, the relationship between man, nature and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fascinating discussion panel will also take place at 3 pm in the small screening room of the Ma\u0142opolska Garden of Arts and it will focus on the issue of ecology in the film industry; its full title (Green filming in practice. The film industry and ecology<\/strong>) refers to a very important problem, which is the impact of the film industry on the condition of our planet. The purpose of the panel is to ask ourselves questions, and perhaps also to try to find an answer, a solution to make production more responsible, environmentally friendly and thoughtful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All lovers of the cinema of the Land of the Rising Sun will have an opportunity to see the work of Atsushi Wada<\/strong> as part of the segment Japanese Ma Philosophy in Animation<\/strong>. It starts at 4:30 pm and lasts just over an hour during which as many as eleven short animated films will be shown. Some of the titles are Day of Nose<\/strong>, Gentle Whistle<\/strong>, Bird<\/strong> and Stone<\/strong> and A Manipulated Man<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet another important event will begin at 6 pm of the fourth day of the festival: the screening of nine student etudes selected by Mariusz Wilczy\u0144ski<\/strong>, a Polish painter, performer and, of course, director of animated films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 8 pm onwards, only in the small screening room, viewers will have a chance to see the works of Borivoj Dovnikovi\u0107 Bord, a Croatian director whose The Ceremony, Krek or The Flower Lovers are only three of the eight movies presented during this part of Etiuda&Anima. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the fourth day of the festival will be the gala of the Polish Filmmakers Association and the award ceremony for the best animations in 2021. The gala itself will start at 8:30 pm in the large screening room of the Ma\u0142opolska Garden of Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the day, at 9 pm, only in the small screening room, viewers will have an opportunity to see seven short films created by young animation artists from Central and Eastern Europe.Ant Hill (dir. Marek N\u00e1prstek), Crossing (Ag\u00e1ta Bola\u0148osov\u00e1) or The War of the Words or the Respectful Silence? (dir. Leo \u010cernic) are just three of them.
