In his documentaries, he depicts socially challenging themes while approaching his protagonists on an intimate level. He was also shortlisted for the Student Bafta Awards by the British Academy and has won several awards in Germany and Austria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently he is working on a documentary film, dealing with survivors and perpetrators of gender-based violence in Namibia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hendrik Str\u00f6hle is a young filmmaker from Stuttgart - Germany.
