Makers turn gladly to reality and reach for documentary forms. During this year\u2019s edition of festival we will be able to meet with different examples of new documentary in movie world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px; line-height:20px; text-align:center;\" id=\"1\"><strong>10 found footage of 5 authors in choice of Maciej J. Drygas\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\">In age of omnipresent digitalization and backing from common use of film reel, interest in carrier is growing. Attention of artists concentrate not only at content of recording, but also on materiality of movie carrier. That returns movie reel its value and meaning, cause old movie rels often hide forgotten secrets which disappear with them without return.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\">Maciej J. Drygas, great Polish documentalist, presents his choice of ten movies <em>found footage<\/em>, which will resurrects archive pictures. <em>Found footage <\/em>is a technic using making new movie from compilation of existing movie materials. Author of review himself was Rusing this metod as one of firsts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/etiudaandanima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Found-Footage1.jpg\" alt=\"found-footage1\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11230\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\">In programme we will see movies by Bill Morrison, American artist Rusing technic <em>found footage<\/em>: \u201eDecasia\u201d, that is visual experiment based on old falling apart movie reels from age of silent cinema, also \u201eThe Great flood\u201d, \u201eLight Is Calling\u201d. There will be presentation of documentaries from Soviet Union \u2013 \u201eThe Beginning\u201d, \u201eThe Inhabitants\u201d and \u201eOur Century\u201d by Artavazd Peleshian, and \u201eBlocade\u201d by Siergiej Loznica from 2006.\u00a0 We will screen also Dutch <em>found <\/em><em>footage<\/em>: \u201eMother Dao, The Turtlelike\u201d by Vincent Monnikendam, \u201c The Danube Exodus\u201d and \u201cMaelstrom \u2013 A Family Chronicle\u201d by P\u00e9ter Forg\u00e1cs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\">This will be brillant occasion to see unique recycled movies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\"><strong>10 found footage of five authors in choice of\u00a0 Maciej J. Movie tells about unfulfilled carrier of Hitler as animator, who wanted to create place similiar to Disneyland, called Naziland.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/etiudaandanima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Hitler1.jpg\" alt=\"hitler1\" width=\"900\" height=\"628\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11232\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\">Basing at information that Hitler wanted to be a painter and also gossips that he loved Disney\u2019s \u201eSnow White and seven dwarves\u201d Plympton presents secret history of Third Reich in which supposed to be created four-hour animated saga \u201c Die Nibelungen\u201d with \u2026.. a cartoon duck. \u201cHitler\u2019s Folly\u201d shows, what could happen if artistic carrier of Hitler went different way and \u2013 instead of becoming cruel dictator \u2013 he would became animation maker with position similar to Walt Disney.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\"><strong>November 27th (Sunday), 18.00<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Kij\u00f3w Centrum \u2013 Large Screnning Room<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:16px; line-height:20px; text-align:center;\" id=\"3\"><strong>Uri Kranot presents animated documentaries from around the world<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\">Uri Kranot is an author and direktor of movies and animations awarded all around the Word. Till now he got more\u00a0 than 30 international awards. He conducts master courses around the World, and retrospectives of his movies were presented among others at Paris\u2019s Forum des Images in 2009. His newest movie \u201eHollow Land\u201d was on short list of candidates for Oscar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size:13px; line-height:20px; text-align:justify;\">Uri Kranot is also passionate about animated documentary movies.
