Milagros Mumenthaler – a director and screenwriter born in Argentina in 1977. Brought up in Switzerland, in a half-artistic family who cultivated her esthetic sensitivity. After her return to Argentina, she studied at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. Her short films won recognition at international festivals, and her feature length debut Back to Stay (Abrir puertas y ventanas), a continuation of the topics from her short films, was awarded the Golden Leopard at the festival in Locarno. Milagros Mumenthaler is a winner at the festivals Etiuda 2004 and Etiuda&Anima 2007.

Buenos Aires at the close of summer. Three teenage sisters, Marina, Sofia and Violeta stay alone in their family home, full of mementoes left by their recently dead grandmother who raised them. The girls listen to music, meet friends, fall in love, laugh and argue. Suddenly thrown into adulthood, they need to find themselves in this uncertain situation, and the painful loss unexpectedly creates new perspectives for them.
