Leszek Dawid – born in 1971, graduated from PWSFTviT in Łódź. His first huge success was his document A Bar at Victoria Station (Bar na Victorii, 2003), a prize winner at the international and national 44th Krakow Film Festival. In the following years he made documents and quasi-documents, until he made his feature length debut Ki with Roma Gąsiorowska in the leading part in 2011. You are God (Jesteś Bogiem) is the artist`s second feature length film. He has been teaching at the film school in Łódź for years. Leszek Dawid is a prize winner at the festival Etiuda&Anima 2005.

Romek Ziemba, a 26-year-old drummer from a small town is looking for his place in life. His refuge is an old construction barrack, which is used for rehearsals. He feels safe there, but he finally decides to face real life outside. He tries, without success, to find work in Warsaw. His sister`s friendship, his father`s awkward and grouchy love, the friendship of Staszek, who is trying his hand at small business (buying a crane to be used for bungee jumps) – this is what his small town has to offer.

A film about a music group Paktofonika, which changed the face of Polish hip-hop. The film revolves around the story of Magik, Rahim and Fokus, who, thanks to songs such as the famous You are God, became the voice of a generation of young Poles of the last few years.
