It is the second time that IFF Etiuda&Anima, apart from traditional competitions of student etudes and independent animated films, also organizes a review of graduate films made at Polish art schools in 2012. Similar to last year, the presentation will not be a competition; however, we do not rule out that the programme of the festival will evolve in this direction, and that we will hold a competition of Polish graduate films in the near or distant future.

The project is inspired by a theory of subjective time used in Marcel Proust’s novels and the concept of relativity of time to circumstances accompanying its passing and to characters experiencing it. The film poses the following questions: Is time objective? Does everyone feel the passing of time in the same way? Is time flexible?
